Adele, pronunciation, DH
So DH doesn't listen to music. I know that is really strange, but he has no clue about anything. He has only bought one CD (MC Hammer). Meanwhile, I love music and have a big collection. I try to teach him stuff.
He does, however, try to pay attention to pop culture. He knows pop songs and a bit about my favourites. So we were talking about music on a road trip and he mentioned he had seen on Fallon that people were really into a person called "A-da-lay". I'm like who?
He meant Adele. Then he tried to convince me you can pronounce it like he said. I was cracking up.
Yeah, no.

My husband does this with a lot of names. Names of people, stores, places, he just makes up his own names for things. I am always like Huh, you mean so and so LOL
