Add another thing to the list...we have a flood in the basement
We just can't win  I dont even know who to call?
The carpet in the back along the wall is soaked but the walls aren't wet so the water can't be coming in from the windows. We do have our A/C unit downstairs and the water is near that as well. So it is either the A/C unit or water coming in b/c of all this rain.

Are your gutters cleaned? is the water going away from the house or towards the house when it rains? that is usually the cause of water in basements, so just make sure these things are done. If it still happens, you might want to have someone come in and take a look to see how the water is getting in.
