appt to meet and speak with the pediatrician 7/28 
YAY! He's all the way out in wading river, but his resume/experience best fits our needs, so we're willing to drive.
I hope it's a good meeting.
we're also watching our first newborn care DVD. We have 2, and then 2 labor DVDs....... slowly but surely.
a side question:
how important do you think it is to tour the hospital? I'm not really into spending time doing that... I know the basics of SBU hospital, and am overall fine with just showing up when I'm in labor... is that a bad idea?

I didnt take a tour before delivering at st.charles.. I dont think its neccesary its up to you..I know this time Im delivering st SBU and the only reason I want to take a tour would be just to know where to go I have only been there once 5 yrs ago.
