Acupuncture during IVF
When are you supposed to go? Do you think it helped you if you did it?

I went once a week for a couple months leading up to my cycle and 2x per week once I started stimming. Not only did I respond better to meds, but I was way more relaxed than my first cycle.
I went to Andy Kaplan in RVC.

I went to Andy too and highly recommend him. I've done acu for all my IVF/FET cycles. I've gotten pregnant (once with triplets even..) but had losses- not at all related to the acu though.

this is exactly what I did. I also am much more relaxed when doing accu. I actually started to crave it these days! weird! But I definitey recommend it. I go in Lake Success, let me know if you want the info!

I have one I go to already but, I pay oop so I took this cycle off before ivf cycle to save some money. Just was wondering when in my cycle it was good to.go back.

I went twice a week once I started stims and my schedule was modified a bit around the retrieval and transfer. I go to andy kaplan in Rockville Centre. I had no side effects from my meds, good lining, responded great to the stims and was relaxed. I'd definitely try it
ETA: I'd ask the acupuncturist when it's best to go but I'd say whe you start stims

i went once a week before and during IVF and added sessions the day before ER and ET and then a few days close after to the ET. i think it helped my lining be the best it ever was for my IVF cycle. but i also started going about 3m before i started IVF, since its the kind of thing that builds upon itself. so the more and longer you go, the more likely you are to see results.
i do also think it helped me stay very relaxed and positive during my cycle.

I went 2x a week at the start of my cycle and then right before and right after my transfer. I'm still going until I'm 13 weeks- which is next week!
I def think it helps and def keeps me relaxed.

I see Roberta from South Shore Acupuncture - She is a god sent...
a Large amount of studies show that Acupunture can help infertility...
She is located right in lynbrook too :)
ETA: Didn't answer your question...I went thru 2 cycles of IVF one fresh and one frozen both failed....even using intralipids
DH and I wanted to try a different approach and starting seeing Roberta once a week for acupunture treatments....Pending on if issues your acupunturist should tell you how many times a week they would want to see you...
Since we are slightly laid back this time around we are only seeing Roberta once a week until we decided to try IVF again...
I just also think anything is possible...and maybe just doing Acpunture can help us concieve....I know crazier things have happened :)

It helped me regulate my cycle so I believe it works. I just took a break for a month to save some money. I just didn't know when to start again.
