Acupuncture ?
So I see on these boards a lot of people go to acupuncture and my co-worker was ttc for 3 years and started going and she swears it helped her finally concieve.
I have been thinking about going...but I know nothing about it.
Who do I call? Does it hurt? How much does it cost and is it covered by insurance at all?
Any information is much appreciated.

Re: Acupuncture ?
I went to see Andrew Kaplan in Rockville Centre. I absolutely loved it, it was the best part of my week. During my IVF cycle I started going 2x a week and after my transfer I went down to 1x a week and after about 8 or 9 weeks PG I stopped going. Unfortunately it is rarely covered by insurance. I paid $75 for my consultation and $60 per session. If you can swing it financially, I would totally recomend it.

Re: Acupuncture ?
I go and it is great, if nothing else it relaxes you which helps alot during a cycle.
I went for my first IVF (BFP), my FET (BFN) and now going for my 2nd IVF. I go 2x's a week, 2x's on day of transfer and for my 1st pregnancy I went until 14 weeks preganant.
My acupuncturist specilizes in infertility- Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness in NYC and LI. He does take out of network insurance.
