Acupuncture

Hey Ladies,

One of my best friends has been TTC for almost 2 years, was on tons of meds, did IUI's etc. Her next step was IVF. Before it was started, she needed a break so she did acupuncture for about 2 months and to her surprise is now pregnant!! It's just an amazing story and I wanted to share with all of you. Obviously we don't know if acupuncture is what did it, but it was the only that she changed in her life after her doctor told her there was nothing else they could do.

I have been TTC for a few months now and I think am going to check it out. My insurance does cover it so why not.

Just wondering if anyone has had any good or bad experiences with acupuncture and any doctor recommendations in the Massapequa area or really anywhere in Nassau?

I am in the middle of my second IVF cylcle and started acupuncture about 2 months ago.

I just wanted to recommend my acupuncturist. I love him and he's in Rockville Centre.

A friend of mine too had been trying for 2 years, she tried acunpuncture and after 3 months she was pregnant. She doesn't ovulate on her own was her problem.

I have been going and am on my third cycle. She says if the third one doesn't work we will turn to herbs.

I find it super relaxing, not painful at all, and it has made my period cramps a lot more managable.

I did acupuncture and I loved it. I was doing it for about a month before getting my bfp. Lemme know if you want my doctors contact info. I believe she is a vendor on here.

i did acu and i loved it. i genuinely believe it helped me get my BFP. after my second m/c i started it. 3 months later i was on to IVF and with no additional meds or treatment i suddenly had the best lining i ever had. theres no other reason for it to have been that great other than acupuncture.
i also found it very relaxing.
i went in NYC so my reference wont do you any good but ill post if you want it.

Thank you so much ladies! I would love all of your doctor recommendations and I definitely plan on trying it out! If anything it will make me more relaxed.

Flowerwife - I actually work in the city, so do you mind telling me who you went to. I could definitely go on my lunch hour if it's close, but I will probably be so comfortable I won't want to go back to work haha!

I am a fan of acupuncture and am thinking of doing it again for ttc purposes. If anyone has any recommendations in the city, I'd appreciate it!
