Actually trying is so all consuming!

DS #1, who is 3.5 was a complete surprise.

Now we are actively trying for #2. Im so anxious already, all these what ifs, what if we arent as lucky, what if 4 years later and now well into my 30s, its not going to be as easy, what if, what if, what if.

The OPKs, the CM, the when youre just not in the mood bc you have too, I cant imagine what Ill be like if this takes months!!! We are only in the 2WW of cycle one trying, if Im this anxious now, I just cant imagine. I knew we were blessed with DS, but I had no idea how much so until now.

Anyone else "surprised" with #1 and now are actively trying for another, feel the same way? How do you keep it from consuming you, and how do you make feel less like business?

I am trying for #1 and Im feeling the way you are feeling right now TTC is a lot of work and def. consuming. Its hard when Im not in the mood and I have to get myself in the mood. Its not easy but in the end it will be worth it

trying for number one for over a year..i def feel that way sometimes..and it has def become a job and the romance is gone but for now we r ok with that bc we want a child more than anything in this world
