active in whomb and active outside???
If while you were pregnant and ur child was always moving around punching kicking moving did they stay as active once they were born?? With my 1st I hardly ever felt her moving when she was in my belly. I mean maybe two or three times throughout the day and she was a very calm baby when she was born. Slept a lot hardly cried truly a easy baby but now with #2, well that's another story haha.. He is always moving.. My inside actually hurt from all the movement lol.. Am I domed when he comes out lol will he be all over the place and the total opposite of my 1st or is there still a chance he will come out just as clam haha
Everyone keeps saying oh good luck that means hes going to have a lot of elegy right away haha

active in whomb and active outside???
For me, it was true. My OB would comment on how my DS was a future gymnast or something bc he was just doing flips all the time. And he is the energizer bunny, he is a ball of energy. But I've heard other people say the opposite was true for them. I don't think you can predict it for sure. But if you're expecting a boy you should probably expect him to be a bit more active than your daughter. Just in general I notice girls are more calm but obviously each child is different regardless of gender. If he is super active, he will be a lot of fun!

Boys are super hyper. Hunter practically tried to escape my stomach when I was pregnant. Trevor and Hunter were crazy in the womb and they are crazy out of it! Lol

DS was super active in the womb, and super active now. He is a sensory seeker, so constantly on the move.

True for me. DS was SUPER active inside and he even got the hiccups a lot inside. Outside he gets the hiccups like crazy and he is SUPER active. He's only 7 month but is always moving or needs to be entertained. As a newborn he was mellow and slept and ate but as he found he cound move around he's a NUT! He just started to crawl and I know I'm in trouble now!

Re: active in whomb and active outside???
I had anterior placenta so I couldn't feel much. To me, I barely ever felt her. Like ever. And she was and is still super active after being born. So for me, it's not true. However, for all I know she could have been dancing up a storm in there and I just couldn't feel it because of the anterior placenta

Re: active in whomb and active outside???
Yep. I had anterior placenta and STILL felt him all the time. And now out of the womb he is constantly kicking his legs and moving his hands and turning his head side to side to see everything. So now I'm like oh THAT'S what I was feeling!

active in whomb and active outside???
was true with DD - she was very mellow and relaxed in my belly. a few kicks throughout the day but more often i was poking at her trying to make her move. she came out 8 days late and is a very mellow baby.
this one is all over the place - at my last OB appt she tried to get the heart rate and said "wow you have an active baby in there - good luck!" so i guess doctors feel its true as well im really in for it this time!

active in whomb and active outside???
This was true for me, but on the opposite side of the spectrum. DD was super mellow inside, hardly ever moved and she was exactly the same once she got out. We've been getting PT since she was 6mo due to gross motor delays. Now, she never stops moving. Not quite walking yet at almost 14mo, but almost. Then we're really in for it.

Re: active in whomb and active outside???
DS was very active in the womb, but seems totally average energy-wise at almost 4 months, even placid, so I don't think that's really true for us.

Re: active in whomb and active outside???
Sounds like my 2. DS1 was calm and that's his personality now. I wouldn't exactly say he's calm, but a much better attention span and can sit for a while coloring, watching TV, playing games, etc. DS2 was nonstop in my belly. Always punching and kicking me. During my sonos the tech always laughed how active and abusive he was. LOL! Well, he's nonstop now at 2 and always has been. I always say DS2 doesn't stop till he's sleeping.

Re: active in whomb and active outside???
With my second daughter I felt her moving around very early, around 10 weeks. My dr didn't believe me. She was very active inside me throughout my pregnancy. When I delivered I labored for 13 hours and she came out in 15 minutes. Sine then, she has been in a rush to do everything. Crawl, walk early, etc. she never stops moving and she's only 1!

Not true for me - DD2 was super active in the womb, but is such a sweet and calm baby. She is almost 9 months and is just starting to move - she has been content just sitting!

Re: active in whomb and active outside???
My DD was very active when I was pregnant. Always kicking and rolling around, she never stopped moving. But when she was born, she was very chill and relaxed. She wasn't the baby that was crawling and rolling everywhere. Not at all. She was content to just sit and play. She's 5 now and is still pretty laid back and chill.
My DS was SO chill when I was pregnant that I sometimes had to poke my belly and rile him up just to make sure he was ok. He wasn't a mover and a shaker when I was pregnant, I barely knew he was in there sometimes. But since he's been born, he's 10 months now, he's always been on the move. He loves rolling around, crawling, and cruising. He never wants to be still. He likes being on the move and playing.
So basically, my kids, once they were born were the total opposite of what they were in the womb. Go figure!
ETA - They were both very good and very easy babies though. DS just likes to move around more when he's awake but their personalities are very similar. Their activity level isn't.
