Academy Awards movies
Which recent Academy Awards movies have you seen? Which would you recommend?
* Sound of Metal (Amazon Prime) - great movie! Riz was amazing!
* Mank (Netflix) - boring and hard to follow. I stopped watching halfway thru.
* My Octopus Teacher (Netflix) - absolutely beautiful movie! Highly recommend!

-Sound of Metal
-Nomadland
-Soul
-Promising Young Woman
-One Night In Miami
-Ma Rainey's Black Bottom
-Onward
-Mulan
-The One and Only Ivan
Saw but was just OK and wouldn't recommend:
-Judas and the Black Messiah
-The Trial of the Chicago 7
-Hillbilly Elegy
-Over the Moon
-The Life Ahead
Hated:
-Mank
-Borat Subsequent Moviefilm
-Eurovision Song Contest
Still really want to see:
-Minari
-The Father

I didn't know they made a movie for this?! Will watch this weekend! I love Eurovision.
I saw:
Borat (it was OK, but I can't believe people can be that stupid; even SO thought the same)
Another Round (I really liked this!)

a lot are on my "i want to see" list
the only one i started to watch and couldn't get past the first 10 minutes was "hillbilly elegy."

-Emma ( was nominated for costumes)
Saw but was just OK
-Mank
-A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon ( cute, but nothing special)
Didn't like:
-Hillbeilly Ellegy
