? about transporting a Love bird to NC
Right now I have my parents (was once upon time mine) 17 year old Peached Faced Love Bird since they couldn't bring it when they moved to NC. So next week i'll be bringing the bird down and there's no way in hell that I'm going to have his big *** cage in my back seat clanging away for a 12 hr car ride. I want to put him something smaller and quieter...any suggestions? Would a small gerbil/hamster type cage work?

Whenever i travel with my African Grey, especially in the cold weather, i use on of those little travel kennels. The ones that they use for dogs or cats. I put a blanket in there and a bowl of fresh veggies. I have never traveled that far with her though.
