She said, "I love you"
Well- it was an approximation of it. Every night we go through the "night night" routine and I always say, "I love you" and she repeats me.
Tonight, when we gave each other kisses, she suddely just said it on her own and hugged me. I could barely say it back I was so choked up.
I really needed it today too.

Honestly- I can't believe the incredible rush of love I felt. I swear I felt my heart bursting. And we had a ROUGH day today too...
This parenting thing truly is a combination of agony and ecstacy.

Hearing your child say I love you is the most special moment you will have with DC!! It melts my heart every single time! He can be sleeping and I will check on him before going to bed and I always say I love you. Sometimes he will say "love you too mommy" in his sleep. So happy for you!
