? about returning Carter's items....
Does anyone have a secret for figuring out where Carter's itmes were purchased?
I have a bunch of stuff to return and no idea where it was purchased!!!
I have to go to BRU anyway so I'll try there, but if they don't carry it, what do I do?

BRU, Macy's, Kohl's all carry Carter's items.

It is really tough-try BRU first. Target and Walmart also sell some Carters stuff but it is a different line. Also Costco sells Carters. I have two things I couldn't figure out where to return it to so I'm stuck with them. You could also try Kohl's & Macy's.

If all else fails, send them directly back to Carter's. I did that with a few things and they either refund or send back your item in the next size up if something was wrong with it.
I had a great customer service experience with them!

BRU wouldn't take two Carters outfits I had-they would scan them and say they didn't sell that or whatever.

I start off at BRU. THen go to BBB. Then go to Carters. At that point I will have usually gotten rid of everything. Once in awhile there are items that no one will take back.

Same here...that would be my suggestion - go to Carter's first if possible.
I returned a lot at the carters outlet. They are really great about taking things back.
BRU is horrible about clothing returns. If they do take it back they give you such a low amount back worth of credit.

If it's Child of Mine by Carter's I think it's Wal-mart or Target. There's another Target spin off too...but I can't think of the name. I had the same problem and ended up looking it up online...I put in the name on the tag and it pulled up Macy's...so that is where I went and returned 2 outfits.
