About morning sickness

When did yours peak?
When did it stop/improve greatly?
Did you take any antinausea med?

I am so looking forward to the light at the end of this tunnel!

Peak? I have no idea, but it was rambuctious from when I peed on the stick and saw pregnant! LOL

When did it stop/improve greatly?
I am 16 weeks and I still get M/S at night. Which is MUCH better than puking all day like I was up until a few weeks ago.

Did you take any antinausea med?
Yes, I was prescribe Zofran. But Zofran was giving me migraines, so I stopped taking them.

Aren't I a bag a fun? lol Chat Icon

Re: About morning sickness

My M/S went from about 5 - 14 weeks. Then it would be off and on. I did everything every person told me worked for them with morning sickness. Saltines, breads, peanut butter, peppermint, ginger, ginger ale, etc... I even wore those sea bands.

Nothing would help. The doctor gave me Phenergan.

Their is light at the end of the tunnel Chat Icon

I guess I peak I mean it was at its WORST! I have zofran but I don't thik it does anything. I was wondering if it was just me or for nausea in pregnancy it really doesn't help. I also only take 1/2 the tablet the dr gave me because it gives me headaches tooChat Icon

Ugh. I just stopped altogether. The migraines were so bad that I was better off just sticking to the waves of nausea. As for peak, it was really bad all throughout. It would come in waves. I'd be fine when I woke up, and then I'd get sick because I was hungry and then I'd eat and then I'd get sick from what I ate. That sort of thing. it was like this EVERY day.

I just can't remember my pregancy with my son at all, for some reason I think I was less nauseous then. But I also didn't have a 4 year old bossing me around and was able to sleep and rest all i wanted!

I got mine at 6 weeks and that was also the peak.

Mine started to go away around 10 weeks... (I was able to eat something besides bagels so to me that was a great improvement)

No I didn't take any meds.. I just suffered through it and still every now and than I feel a little queasy still.

I can totally sympathize! I have a 3.5 YO and a 20 month old to tend to, so it's def not easy. I was very sick with my DS, although it STOPPED at 11 weeks on the nose. And with DD, it started at week 16! Chat Icon

Re: About morning sickness

mine was at its worst from 5w-8w. That was when i had severe nauseousness.

From 8w-11 weeks I had frequent throwing up and certain foods and smells made me so sick.

By 12/13 weeks I was totally in the clear.

Everyone is diff, but we all have/had a light at the end of the tunnel Chat Icon Chat Icon

Mine started around week 6, I didnt get it everyday only about once a week and that was enough for me.

It stopped around week 14.
