? about Madonna
Did anyone hear that she doesn't play her old stuff because she doesn't like herself from back then? Someone told me this and I am going to be so disappointed with her concert if she doesn't do her classics

That's true, her last couple of concerts on TV didn't have much of the old stuff...

This is true. I've heard her say this in a few interviews. Her last concert had a majority of new stuff with very little from her first few albums.

When I went to the Drowned World tour, she only sang "Holiday" and "La Isla Bonita". I loved it anyway- and it didn't stop me from buying tickets to this new tour.

Her last show from 2 years ago she did Like A Virgin, Holiday, La Isla Bonita, Live to Tell, Erotica, Lucky Star. I've heard that she doesn't like to do a lot of her old songs and she will never do Material Girl again in concert. Every time I've seen her she's done at least 3 or 4 old songs. I would not recommend seeing her if you are only into her old songs because you will be disappointed. Plan on hearing 80% songs from the last 10 years and the remaining will be from before then.

I have been to 2 of her concerts in the last few years and don't expect too many classics. She will mostly play the album she is currenly promoting with maybe 2-3 classics.

usually when she does play the classics they have a bit of a twist to them played or sang differently

Thanks for your replies. I don't mind the new stuff but I also wanted to hear some old stuff. Glad to hear she does a few songs!
