? about Cablevision & call ID on TV
Since when does caller ID show up on your TV when your phone rings? I called my DH from work & he said that a box popped up on the lower left side of the TV and said Caller ID with my work name & #. Is this something new?

We just noticed this last night. My SIL called who just happens to have the last name of Ford and I thought it was something about President Ford. I didn't realize what it was until my husband pointed out that it was his sister's number. Mine pops up on the upper-left corner.

Ours did it last night fo rthe first time, but my phone never rang. The Caller ID popped up with a guys name and no call. we turned off the option.

Its a free feature. It only went live Monday for eastern long island. Not sure what the line is. You can turn it off if you like though your setup box menu setting.

You can turn to channel 630 to shut off this new feature. Which is free. They really should've notified people of this feature. I think it is great though!

u can turn it off by going to channel 630
