A Swiss Party Needed
My DH and I are deciding whether or not we should take the giant leap and move to NC this coming school year. He works for the government and could- with some work- be transferred down. I, on the other hand, will be looking for a teaching job in Union County. It seems it might be easier said then done.
Now here is my dilemma-
We looked last week and loved it. My parents told us to look in a development that they would be moving to in about 3 years. I fell in love with the area and the amount of home you get for the money.
However, I was looking to wait a year because honestly, I cannot leave my family behind knowing it is three years aware.
Now- in speaking with the realtor she reminded us that the company is starting to take away many things from the basic packages of homes. Also, she did mention that they are planning on raising prices in September or as soon as the market changes by at least 15-25,000 dollars.
Now do I let money drive my decision to move there and know I will be saving the 25,000 in the long run and get a better house, knowing I'll be ready to help when my parents eventually come down. Or do I wait it out and see where everything lies in a year or so.
I mean who is to say the market will go up anytime soon. But---- they have already seen a influx in the number of people interested which means the prices will rise and I will not be able to move into a home I build.
Thoughts opinions---- I just need some SWISS party thoughts!
Thanks and if you got this far-- KNOW THAT I APPRECIATE IT!

Do what you feel in your heart. If you really want to move and it is smart then do it!! Make a pro-con list. GL!
