A sensitive topic but...Bleeding after Pregnancy?

Hello all,
My son will be 9 weeks tomorrow and I am still spotting. I know this is a very personal question, but would you be able to tell me how long it lasted for you?
Wondering if I should call the doctor.
When I went for my 6 week checkup he said it was normal, but now I am starting to get worried. Also, I was on birth control for 12 years before coming off to get pregnant. I am wondering if my body doesn't know how to regulate itself anymore?? I appreciate any help you can give me. I am a little nervous!!

Hi there!! You might want to post on the Parenting board for more answers, but the BTDT mommies can tell you their experiences here.

I bled for 6 weeks, then spotted for about a week, then got AF for another week to two weeks after that-really heavy.

If you are spotting now, I think you're ok, I remember that happening in between my 1st and 2nd AF.

i slowed down at 4 weeks and was done by 6. good luck!
