D, I have bene meaning to write to you, how is Diesel doing? (and how are you doing)?

as for me - day by day but doing better. I have another month or so of antibiotics. Most days I feel great, some days I regress. Chat Icon

As for Diesel - we cage him now when we leave. I feel bad but he just cant be home alone with free roam of the house. I have been looking up different ways to train him but its gonna be hard to have multiple "sessions" with DD around getting in the way. From what i've learned I need to pretend to leave the house and then watch at the window for him to try to chew something and correct him. How the heck am I supposed to do that with DD around?? Chat Icon

But either way, crating him eliviates tons of stress so thats just what we are going to do now.

The only other issue I still have a major problem with is the poop eating. He still does it. I am on my 3rd product that I am trying. I have been doubling the dose (which it suggests if the original dose doesnt work) and he still eats it!! So I am going to try the crushed pineapple now, I heard that might work. Chat Icon

I hear ya, it's hard with the dogs and the toddlers, can't lie about that. I do understand. I don't think there is anything wrong with crating, you are home often I am sure so it's ok when you need to do it if it helps. Does he handle the crate well?

He likes the crate. If I am going to be gone for a while, I give him a kong with canned sweet potato. He has his bed in there so its cozy. I just picture murray taunting him from outside the cage saying "na na nanana" Chat Icon
