A poll for a friend... Please answer!
A good friend of mine is PG and she has her Level II in a few weeks.... she has had severe sickness, and everyone keeps telling her girl b/c of it.
What did you have and were you sick?

Me too. Although I was a bit nauseous at times...and I did get sick twice, but that's it.

Not sure how to reply to the poll since I have 3 but my first 2 were pretty close to the old wives tales
Boy = no m/s
Girl = a lot of m/s
Boy = m/s but not as much as with girl

Me too. Although I was a bit nauseous at times...and I did get sick twice, but that's it.
I had a boy but otherwise experienced the same with m/s - I had many episodes where I gagged but only got sick twice.

Julia I had horrible MS that lasted for almost 3 months, I lived in the bathroom...
Todd Jr I was sick for only 3 weeks, never threw up.

its an old wives tale.
My first PG I had a girl. I was EXTREMLY sick the entire time. ( lost the PG)
Last Pg was a boy and was Extremly sick.

Had severe m/s up until 16 weeks with dd, this pregnancy had a mild case from 9-11 weeks, but not sure what im having this time.

 - I was SO sick the whole pregnancy. I lived in the bathroom. I would even make myself puke before I ate in hopes to keep my meal down a little longer.
I got a little nauseous with both my girls but never really puked.

Girl.
For the most part, I wasn't terribly sick. Just gagging and food aversions.
There was one week where I think our hormones clashed or something. I had a severe migraine and I couldn't move without throwing up.

No MS and I had a boy, but I know plenty of people who were sick and had boys and had no sickness and had girls - enough to disspell that wives tale.
