Many, many hugs!
I know it's hard to not get frustrated. It's very common in preemies to have difficulty maintaining body temperature. Joseph was born with a broken heater too.
Right now, she's getting the care she needs. They're keeping a close eye on her weight, etc. If you had her home, you'd be driving yourself crazy with "is she losing weight?" Well you'll do that anyway once she's home, but you get my point.

I hope she gets to come home soon. If the doctors feel she needs to stay longer, it's probably best bc they want to send you home with the healtiest baby. I can't imagine how hard it is to leave her everyday

Hang in there. Just realize that it's important that your baby stay in the hospital for as long as she needs to be. Having her home too early will not be good for her, you or DH. I know it is tough, but the important thing is that your baby keep gaining her weight and maintaining her temp. She is surrounded with the best care around for her. Emotionally i know it is tough but hang in there.
My smallest was 5lbs 7 ozs and went down to 5lbs 1oz and he is sooo tiny that at times i was worried about him being home. Now he is gaining.....so with you daughter being smaller its probably better for now that she stay in till she can maintain some weight.
