Re: a little worred.... losing weight

It is totally normal. I lost weight in both pregnancies for the first couple of weeks. With DD lost weight and did not get back to my original pre-pregnancy weight until week 20. This one I am still not back to my pre-pregnancy weight at my last check up in which I was 24 weeks.

the baby will steal all of the nutrients it needs to grow. And once you get your appetite back you will start gaining the weight. Just eat what you can and don't force anything.

I lost a lot of weight in my first tri. I was not suffering from M/S, but I had major food aversions. Trust me I made up for it in my last month.

Same for me. Lost 4 Lbs in 1st trimester due to lack of appetite.

Re: a little worred.... losing weight

I had hyperemis and lost 13lbs in the first 13 weeks. I gained that back +6 at 38 weeks and then lost 3lbs between 38 and 39 weeks, so I gained a grand total of 3lbs during my entire pregnancy.

DS was a perfect 6lbs when he was born.

Re: a little worred.... losing weight

I lost 8 lbs in my first tri and gained it back and then some in my second. If you continue to lose weight, let your OB know.
