A little nervous...

I am sure it's no big deal-- but I cannot help but think what if in the back of mind.

When I was in my third trimester with my DD, I developed a lump in my right breast. After looking it up and seeing a specialist, we determined it was hormonal and the biopsy came back ok. It went away after I gave birth, but my follow up was to get a mammagram after I was done nursing.

I just got the mammagram but I did stop nursing 6/7 months ago at least... ANyway, I guess because I am young and the tissue is dense, I have to go back and have breast ultrasounds and more pics taken because they can't see what's there as well. A friend who is the same age told me not to get nervous if they call you back-- it's common and she did when she got one.

I can't get an appt til the end of the month. I am fertile and it will be my first month trying the beginning of Feb.

Yes, I hope everything is ok and I am sure it is.. but I also hope I don't miss my first fertile window.

I actually had a situation that was very similar. I felt pain in my breast. So, they did a regular breast exam and then I went for a sono. If you live near Good Sam, check out their breast center. They did the sono after Zanger's sono came back with different results. They will read the results too, probably the same day.

thanks-- I know I should get results immediately, so if all is ok, it shouldn't affect my plans.

It's also just hard to think of the what if's with a little one at home and at a time when we want to expand the family...

I had to get a sono after my mamo. If you are small your breast tend to be dense so its very normal for them to want a sono. Dont freak.....its more normal than you probably think.
