Re: A Little Depressed
I could have written this post myself.. so unfortunately, I don't really have any advice. I'm carrying about 25+ post partum pounds and I as depressed as I am about my appearance, I cannot seem to stick to a diet and exercise plan for more than a few weeks. Meanwhile I hate going places because I hate the way I look and cannot remember a time in my life I was THIS self-concious (and I've always struggled with weight issues, but now I'm that much more upset about it..)
The only 'goal' I've set for myself is that I am determined to lose this weight before we begin TTC for #2.. and since we want to start relatively soon, I hope that movitates me enough to lose it (only to gain it back again )
You're not alone

Re: A Little Depressed
I weigh more now then I did when I was PG. I am soo disgusted with myself and now my health is being compromised because of it.
DH and I have been trying to eat very healthy. It is soo hard for us both (DH is very overweight too) but we have to think of Andrew now.
Exercising for me is a whole other story. I have to tackle one thing at a time.

Re: A Little Depressed
I'm right there with you Stephanie. I gained 15lbs after the wedding and then got preggo (and quit smoking) and gained another 60 with Jack. I've lost 30.5lbs since Jack was born and he's now 10 months!!! I still have a good 45lbs to go. I feel gross. I tried southbeach diet, too restricting and hard to stick to, so now I joined WW on-line. I don't have the time or the $$ to committ to meetings and I really want to see if it'll work for me. In 3 weeks, I've lost 6lbs. Not great, but it's a start. Where do you live, maybe once I get a normal work schedule going we could go walking or something
