A little angy... UPDATE
So I am getting my check list of things to do done for IVF which we will be starting very shortly. One of the items is a semen analysis for DH. We had this done through my regular GYN back in September. When I had my records transferred over I had assumed the semen analysis went along with the rest. I just found out that my RE's office did not get the semen analysis.
Why am I angry? Because I've done three IUI's, been on clomid, been on gonal-f all without the doctor knowing what the semen analysis said!!
I e-mailed my RE back and asked him how this happened and am waiting for a response.
Is it me or isn't that ridiculous?
UPDATE: My RE actually said "I have in your file that you said the results were normal." Seriously? You wouldn't want to follow up with me to get the actual results?
GRRR....

You have every right to question this mishap. What if the SA showed that one of your treatments was not rec'd. Of course you should have an answer to this!

You have every right to be upset and angry. I would be livid as well. The SA is an intergral piece of information. Without this, it's like working in the dark.

Re: A little angy... UPDATE
I have done 4 IUI cycles and every time I was able to get a sperm count on the day of the IUI based on the sample DH provided. The nurse would tell me on the day of the IUI the count, motility, etc. I can't believe they have no record of this in your chart. I would be very upset also.

they do do a SA with every IUI. I also know with IVF they sometimes want a new one before your cycle.

Exactly. They should have a good idea of what quality sample your DH is producing based on the IUI's. I'm not sure they go into as much detail as a full s/a though so maybe that is what they want
