A happy vent: Loving the commute this week
Lots of schools are closed, people are off from work for the various religious holidays. I actually look forward to it on the Calendar!

I was telling DH the same exact thing! It's taking me no time to get to work! No traffic going and especially coming home

i am liking it too. But i wonder even in the summer my commute is much better! I cant believe that so much traffic is due to school is there really that many teachers and students

I"m loving the way in. Not so happy on the way home with Passover traffic & luggage, but I'm still getting a seat, so I'm happy.

A lot of folks take off when the kids are out of school, that also helps the trains/roads to be lighter

i know i was just telling someone this morning- it usually takes me 40-45 min to get to work and this week i've been getting to work in 20-25 min! its so nice!

normally during the school breaks, i get better parking and the trains are lighter - but this week hasn't been any different (even worse considering Mondays train debacle)

There really are, I think, because I drive to work every day (Suffolk to Nassau) and my commute has been a breeze!
