A happy day after a tragic week.
Today was my ultrascreen appointment. I will be 13 weeks tomorrow. I am measuring right on schedule, the baby was jumping around and moving his/her arms around, the heart was a steady 140 BPM, we saw the brain, 2 arms and 2 legs the little profile of the face, etc. We met with the doc afterwards who said the blood clot is 1/4 of the size it was at the last appointment- very small. It is almost completely gone. And as for the measurements- they were completely 100% perfect. He said that given my age and the sono results, I should have no problems with the numerical results next week.
I know DH was concerned about this so I was excited to tell him we had nothing to worry about (he couldn't make the appt. my mom came) and I finally feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief.
