looks amazing!! are you keeping the wood beams in the dining room? we have the same ones on our first level, and I have gone back and forth with the idea of covering them or not. Since I painted though I think I am keeping them

Unlike our current house, this one is going to be a more long term project. We are only working on the upstairs (bedrooms and master bath) right now and will leave the downstairs as is for now and then do 1 room at a time. I think we will live here forever so there is no rush.

I get the same reaction, everyone loves them!! that's funny. I can't take them down because they are the actual support beams for the house, so if anything we have to cover them up with sheet rock. if we do that the ceilings will only be 8' high and I really like the higher ceiling... I'm still torn. I will def take pics when its all done
