Sailor's Haven for sure. Gorgeous beach, not busy at all. Family oriented. There are no restaurants though, just a concession stand. There is the Sunken Forest you can walk through. Otherwise is just a nice, gorgeous, sandy beach. We have never been to any other part of FI, so can't help you with activities in other areas.

Take the ferry to Ocean Beach and then walk over to a Sea View or Corneille Estate to use the beach. Very short walk and much fewer rules to follow on the beach (you can eat and drink, but can't on Ocean Beach Beaches.)

When you're done with the beach you can walk back to Ocean Beach. There's a playground and many restaurants. I usually hit Maguires or CJs when I'm there with my kids. Then there's Scoops for ice cream. Chat Icon

Avoid island mermaid. Albatross was our fav. Their steamers were the best I've ever had. Cjs was fine. We had the clam bake and it was good. The restaurant that has sushi is also great. They serve more than sushi but I can't remember the name.

I agree. Today we went to Seaview and it was awesome. We walked back to OB for dinner, drinks, etc. we ate at Housers because we had 4 small kids. We ate in the back on the sand. We brought the kids sand toys and they played while we ate. The food was ok but it was nice not having restless kids with us.
