9 Month Old Sleep Issues
So I know this has been posted 100 times and Im sure a lot of those posts have been mine, but Im confused again here. I even just tried to help another mom with sleep issues LOL Maybe Im just venting at this point because I know no one has any answers for me.
I feel like every time I think things are getting better something else is wrong and her sleep is thrown off.
Here is my latest 'change' in habit Im finding with her: Over the course of this week shes been taking less oz per bottle again and wanting it more often. All day and of course at night. She eats solid foods 2-3 times a day and even that Ive noticed she wants to eat less of and is kind of fussy during the eating. I havent even tried anything new with her due to this. Its her usual solids that I know she loves. She was eating more and now its like she wants less of everything. During the day there are times she wants a bottle every 40 minutes because shes eating so little.
The last 2 nights have been horrendous. She wont drink more than 3-4 oz at bedtime (and all day) and wakes every 1-2 hours, to me, appears to be starving eating her hands and the sheets! Screaming crying and jerking her body around. hunger pains? I HAVE NO IDEA anymore what is up with dd. Shes been clingier than usual though I THINK shes not crazy about her pnp anymore and that may have something to do with it. She does much better with being put down and playing independently in her crib. Though at times she cries for 30-40 seconds when we initially put her in there and then stops and starts to play.
I just don't know what to do anymore. Shes had painful gas too the last 2 days. But again nothing in her diet has changed, just how much she wants to eat/drink.
Also Ive noticed some times she wakes crying then sits herself up and wants to play. Its like she fights sleep because she wants to play so much.
Do I call the dr? Does she maybe have stomach aches? Nothing has changed in her diet. Her poop is the same. Shes on alimentum so no milk stuff going on at this point.
UGHH Im just at a loss here.

Re: 9 Month Old Sleep Issues
Is she teething? My 9-month-old is, and she has not been eating much at all, although she has been drinking better than usual (but keep in mind that her bottles are usually terrible). The other night she woke up every hour, and for almost 2 hours at 3:30 in the morning.

I was thinking the same. I know teething can make it uncomfortable to eat. Maybe try motrin a half hour before a feeding to see if she does any better. I also give it before bed if I think DD is teething and in pain.
