8 weeks post partum...
and I got told I still have a "belly" by a co-worker today. Just went in for a visit and left heartbroken 
I have to say though...with this c-section...I feel like a have a lower pouch that I never had before. My dr just cleared me to be active again but will this go away? Its still so sore.

I never had a great body to begin with -but you're only 8 weeks PP- take it easy- you're still a little swollen I bet- just start w/ walking and it will come off- try not to be so hard on yourself.

I second that - I am 12 weeks PP and my body definitely isnt the same. I just started walking and I am hoping that it will help - none of my regular clothes fit

It took 9 months (40 weeks) for you body to get that way, it's going to take more then 8 weeks to get back to normal.
Don't beat yourself up.

Now who the HELL in their right mind would EVER say that to a woman who just friggin gave birth????
That would make me cry too.... and then P!SSED...
FYI - I just read baby Laughs by Jenny McCarthy, and she did say the C-section she had did leave a little shelf near her scar- but look at her - you would never know it... Even though I was fairly thin, I had a little shelf too - I'm thinking C-section or not, I will be shocked if my belly is ever truly flat ever again....

OMG! W T F is wrong with people? Do we work at the same place? A co-worker told me that I had a pot belly when I first came back to work. 
Try not to panic; it will definitely go away.

I thought you looked great and forget what your co-worker said. That is a very rude comment to make to anyone whether they had a baby or not. It's not easy to just jump back to the way you were and it takes time for your body to heal and go back to the way it was. Dont be so hard on yourself before you know that person will be eating their words.

funny thing...she says "your still smaller then me"...right after her rude comment. so what does that make her if she was never preggo...
