8 week old and schedule...what was yours?

My son is 7 weeks and I am trying to figure out a sleep schedule before returning to work.

Can you please let me know when your dc started to STTN (meaning 6 hours or more) and what time their last bottle was AAAAND how many oz? Thanks...

dd didn't start sleeping through the night consistently until after i returned to work... 4-5 months
i was giving her the last bottle around 7 and it was around 6-7 oz
sometimes she would still wake up and want to be fed again after that.
hang in it gets better.

My dc is seven weeks and I feed around eight then around ten and she's asleep till around six. Give or take about a half hour on those times depending on the day.

No schedule at that early age. He slept when he wAnted which was never and ate every 3-4 hrs.

At that age we weren't on any particular schedule. He slept when he wanted to and ate about every 3-4 hours (6 hours).
He started SSTN at 7 weeks. He would have his last bottle at 9, fall asleep around 10, and sleep until 6:30-7.

Dd is 8 weeks and what seems to be her schedule is a bit inconsistent but predictable haha.
Her last bottle of 4/41/2 oz around 6:30 pm in bed latest 8 and sleeps until 1:30 am. Sometimes she will wake at 3 ish instead. Another 4oz bottle then again around 5/5:30.

She eats during the day about every 2 hrs. She takes 2 long naps 3-4 hrs but when she's awake or cat napping she's eating every 2 hrs

DS didn't start sttn until around 11 weeks and it was still not consistent. At 7 weeks, there's not much you can really do.

At that age, I was giving him his last bottle at around 9 or 10pm and he'd sleep until he woke and I'd feed him again. I think he was waking 1 or 2 times a night at that age. And his last bottle was whatever he was eating at that time - I think 5 or 6 oz.

DS is 8 weeks today. He started SSTN at 6 weeks. He has his last bottle somewhere between 830 and 10 and regardless of which time he gets it, he sleeps until 6. He is getting 6 oz. Sometimes he finishes it and sometimes he leaves an ounce.

Their typical schedule for my DD's was eat 3-4oz every 4 hours, except at night- about 6pm we did a full feeding, then another one at 10, then another 2oz or so at 11/12midnight. They started sleeping 6 hours at this point. Then, I stretched their daytime feedings to 4.5 hours, giving them a little extra at each feeding and doing some playtime and music in between.
They finally STTN at about 7 weeks, when I was able to get them to eat every 5 hours during the day instead of 4. They slept 7 to 8 hours and it was awesome.

Ds is 9 weeks. No real schedule over here.
The only things that are consistent are he eats every 2 hours during the day unless he is napping and he goes to bed between 7-8 and wakes up between 5-6.

I have found with him it didn't matter how much he eats for his last feeding. He could eat a 5 oz bottle and wake up at 2 am or he could barely eat before bed and sleep 10 hours...no rhyme or reason. I used to obsess over him have a big bottle/feeding before bed but come to realize it doesn't matter.

My son is 2 months old.

He's been pretty good about sleeping at night since we took him home (only had one feeding at night then went right back to sleep) but naps are still all over the place. Some days he naps a lot, other days not so much. He generally will get tired about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs after every bottle so I try and get him to nap. He usually will but how long he naps for is not consistent. Sometimes it can be for hours, sometimes for a few minutes. I remember with my DD it took her a while to work out a consistent nap schedule.

At night, his last bottle is usually between 9:30-10. He falls asleep right after and will generally sleep until 5-6am. If he happens to eat a little later, which sometimes happens, he just goes a little later into the morning. He does fall asleep again though after this bottle until he eats again.

He gets a 5oz bottle right before bed and first thing in the morning since he's generally pretty hungry after sleeping so long. Throughout the day, he drinks 4oz.
