Ugh my heart hurts for her and her husband. They've been through SO much to have these two beautiful boys. Praying his infection clears up soon

OMg what an update =( How dare the hospital blame the parents! Anything to avoid law suits I am sure. Sending so many prayers to the boys and the entire family.

I know they are concentrating on the babies right now but when they are finally home I hope they sue. Blaming the parents is rediculous.

I'm not sure due to their needs now but it may come up tomorrow when meeting with the hospital, not too sure at this time. We usually speak on a daily basis so I'll update when I can!

That is 100% an infection control problem. There should be a sign outside the door telling visitors to use protective gear before entering the room and the nurses should be ensuring that proper precautions are being followed by all visitors. So while I have no doubt a nurse spread it, it doesn't matter- it's still the hospital's fault. What hospital is this??

Wow so sad for this family many prayers for all of them.
Not sure what hospital they are at but they can most definitely request a nurse they feel is unfit to not be taking care of their children. My son was in the Nicu and I once walked into his room to his nurse for the shift playing candy crush on her phone while standing next his isolette. She quickly put her phone in her pocket when she realized I was next her and them went to start working on my son. I flipped out and stopped her because she didn't wash her hands!! I told her not to touch my son and went immediately to the nurses station and they changed his nurse and never saw her with him again.
I have so many stories but this isn't about me

Many prayers for the babies and the family. Preemies are little fighters and they will get through this
