 | Question Regarding C-Section Hello All,
I am on my first and have what is probably a really stupid question, but here it goes. I already know I am getting a c-section and i was wondering do you still bleed heavily after the birth or is that just when you give birth vaginally?

If not what can i expect after a c-section that is different then a vaginal birth (besides recovery of the wound area and passing of gass issues).

 Thanks

 | Re: Question Regarding C-Section I had a c/s and not a v-birth yet, so I can't compare, but I did not bleed heavily at all. In fact, I hardly bled, although it was there for like 5 weeks. Just really light. |

 | Re: Question Regarding C-Section oh and C-section recovery is much more painful and harder then the recovery from a vaginal birth. I don't mean to scare you but you will be in a lot of pain first 2-3 weeks ,and will have some pain for months after. |

 | Re: Question Regarding C-Section Not for me, I didn't bleed at all after my c-section, very little brown blood came out (sorry TMI) it started to bleed a little more as the days went on, but I also was EBF.
My first AF was a different story, tons of blood came out--lol
