They have these Chocolate Chip Cookies called Dunks I believe. They are long and thin and one side is dipped in chocolate. Perfect for dunking in coffee or milk!

Stew Leonard's has wine,but it is attached store with a sperate entrance. I wonder if the NYC Trader Joe's will be like that.
That's what I thought too, but maybe it will be a seperate store - that is what Costco in Westbury does too.
They sell everything in supermarkets in some states - even hard liquor

Those are my favorites and the cranberry ones as well.
I LOVE everything on this store. It's really hard to make a list. Plus every time I go, I try something new that I hadn't try before.
Does anyone know the hours in the city? I wonder if the one in the city is bigger than the one in East Northport. I think their selection might be more limited because it's really not that big. They should have made bigger when they had that space next door (where the Dollar Store is now)...then they can carry more stuff and then I will be spending a fortune there. I like their prices. I don't think they are expensive at all.
I also like going to Whole Foods on 24th Street and 7th Avenue. This store is pretty big and they have lots of selections. I wish the TJ's in East Northport by me was that big. That would be Great!!!!!

I also get the fruits and mixed nuts from there as well.
I recently tried as well a vegetable mix with a balsamic butter sauce....it was really good....
I have many more but can't think of them right now. I will add as it come to my mind.....

TJ's does have a liquor/wine section! It is a separate store, separate entrance, and it isn't open yet, but it is there.
DH and I got there at about 6:30, and it was PACKED!  We bought cajun salmon, chocolate covered bing cherries, french onion soup, vanilla almond granola bars, general tso's sauce, spaghetti sauce and spinach ricotta ravioli.
everything was yummy, except for the salmon. it didn't even taste like salmon. we'll be using the general tso's sauce later this week.

they opened? wow that seemed like it took a long time since I first heard the announcement they were coming.
My faves are:
TJ Apple- Chicken Sausage
Cat Cookies (chocolate)
Sliced Jarred Papaya
Crumpets (because you can't seem to find them anywhere)
EVOO and Balssamic Vinegar
And I love that you can get a gallon of organic whole milk!
how could I forget Two Buck Chuck!

I know this is an old thread BUT I was just introduced to the joy that is Trader Joe's 
I love their PEACH SALSA (sweet and a bit spicy)
and they sell no pudge brownies that are fat free and so good

Joe joes cookies!
they have great whole wheat Hamburger and hot dog buns!!
their frozen section is is good!!
already sliced and peeled bags of sweet potato wedges!!!
two other things about Trader Joes;
1. the employees are so darn nice and friendly..engaging you in a convo about whatever item you are perusing..and not to mention their uniforms are just...happy!!
2. The checkout process..even at the busiest times they are so quick and efficient....

Better' N Butter peanute butter. It's half the calories of regular p.b. and it's delicious! And I love their 100 calorie dark chocolate bars.

Yes!!! And their brownie pieces, too. And they sell great gyoza's!
Oh the cookies and brownie's are so incredible. The brownies have seasalt. Strange but it works!
Also, their garlic hummus, nuts, creamy tomato soup and all type of bread.

For the veggie's out there, they have the absolute bestest vegetarian chicken fingers and vegetarian meatballs, and they often have a good selection of soy cheeses.
