 | Re: How many hours is "sleeping through the night"? My husband insists that naps in the car are not real naps and they don't count, lol - I would say 5-6 hours would be sleeping through the night - midnight - 5am or something like that. |

 | Re: How many hours is "sleeping through the night"? Not waking between midnight and 5am is considered sleeping through the night. I don't know if I agree but that's what I have read in a few places. I would love for Miranda to sleep later than 5am.

 Shana you are so lucky!!!
Alex usually falls asleep around 10pm & will wake around 1:30 or so. That's her LONG stretch of sleep during the night!
I've had a couple of lucky nights, but for the most part she only sleeps 3-4 hours at a time during the night.

Btw, I'm not at all surprised that she slept longer at night after napping well all day...you know what they say - sleep begets sleep.

This is so true. I never believed it but when Abby sleeps well during the day and she is put down at night when she first shows signs of being tired, she sleeps the longest. It took me a while to figure this out but now that I have she has been sleeping almost 11 hours.

 She will sleep, I promise.

 | Re: How many hours is "sleeping through the night"? I dont know what is considered sleeping thru the night but jacob usually only sleeps 3 hrs at a time, but the past few nights, its climbing to 4 or 4 and a half. Maybe it is b/c i am adding cereal to his bottle for the acid reflux and it is filling him a bit more. I dont know but the day he sleeps 10 or 11 hours straight I am going to have myself a few COSMOS!!!!!!!!!! |
