Protect internet freedom - protest SOPA
Go online today and follow the prompts that wikipedia, reddit, boingboing, google and others - even the hilarious cat picture site www.icanhascheezburger.com/ - have put up in protest against the draconian internet use laws SOPA and PIPA that are being proposed in congress and the senate which would seriously curtail internet freedom.
All of them have darkened their sites today in order to do this - it is THAT important.
The entertainment industry - Hollywood and music - in its effort to curtail piracy has been pushing hard to get these two laws passed. If they make it, we actually might lose wikipedia and other sites all of us enjoy using regularly.
Worse, the government would have the right to take down sites, including this one, without recourse to courts. Very scary.
Take action.

Please check this out. Even Craigs List is blacked out in support. And the Purse Forum , my secret addiction  had a notice about SOPA right below a notice saying "No Purses for You".

Please check this out. Even Craigs List is blacked out in support. And the Purse Forum , my secret addiction had a notice about SOPA right below a notice saying "No Purses for You".
lols...when i saw no purses for you, i said "oh no!!" out loud in my office!! My secret addiction when work bores me too!!

craigslist is not blacked out. let the page load for the SOPA thing when u first go to the page, then the link to craigslist will appear at the bottom.

Google has its name redacted on its website, but it also has an online petition it will submit to congress. Took 30 seconds to fill it out and submit it.
