High Waking Temp I started charting my temp this cycle and its been consistantly 98.2 since the last day of my period. In my books its says that that is considered a high temp and can mean problems. I toss and turn during the night and i'm hoping that its because of this reason that its so high. Does anyone else have high temps like this and can this cause problems TTC?

| Re: High Waking Temp I think fitful sleeping might be a factor. My temps are now well over that and have been since after O. I've gone as high as 98.7, and I looked at other charts on fertility friend and it doesn't seem to be an uncommom temp.

Everyone's temps are different I was usually below 97.8 pre O and above 98 post O. 98.2 may be your normal low, what's important is that you see a shift to higher temps after you O.

I hope that helps!!

Re: High Waking Temp Thank you for writing back to me regarding this. AF is definetly gone and I guess this is my normal temp. I just hope it is okay and not something I need to seek a doctor for like the books state such as thyroid issues or any other medical issue that may prevent me from having a baby.

Re: High Waking Temp Also, make sure the battery in your BBT has not gone kaput. I had consecutive readings for a few days and that ended up being the problem

Re: High Waking Temp I'm using a regular digital thermometer. I think its working because my husband had a virus over the weekend and it read his temperature correctly. I have my annual gyno visit tomorrow so I am going to see what she says. I hope everything is fine.
