The Huge Apartment Fire in Long Beach is back on fire!!
Yup - the 4 alarm fire from this morning is back on fire. DH just ran out of here. Prayers and hugs to our volunteer firefighters.

Thanks Shorty I know he is. It's so damn cold out and the wind off the beach is nuts!
I hate this - I can't go to sleep when he's out on a fire cause I stay up worrying. I'm so sick still and have no idea how I'm going to get up tomorrow morning!!

It was on Ocean Front, between Washington and Lafayette, right on the boardwalk.
My inlaws used to live in the condos right next door.

Thanks for the prayers, ladies. DH got home at 2:45 AM!!
What happened is that there were "hot spots" that started up again in different sections of the building, so they had to go back, dig through rubble, and fight these little hot spots.
Meanwhile - I just got off the phone with him - he is coming home sick from his paid job, because his leg hurts so much from when he pulled a muscle yesterday after falling at the fire. That's why I think volunteers should be compensated!!
