7 months and the issues begin

Hi,

This is my very first post on here.

Have any of you had nosebleeds during your pregnancy?

Also I was told I have a low platelet count which means I have to worry about excess bleeding and/or clotting during delivery. Now I have to go to a Hemotologist. Has anyone been through this?

I am due July 6th!!

TIA

I have them weekly, dr said its nothing to be concerned over its just because of the extra blood amount in the body.

I had bad nosebleeds and I had to get my nose cauterized twice. It was uncomfortable but it didnt hurt.

I've had nasal congestion throughout the pregnancy -- though not so much right now in the 3rd trimester. Nosebleeds definitely were a part of that.

i've had them with both pregnancies, but not too bad, thankfully. is your room dry at night? a cool mist humidifier might help then.

Re: 7 months and the issues begin

I have been getting them at night and in the morning. I have a humidifier which I started using 2 nights ago. So far that has helped, and being able to have the windows open at night is helpful.

Thanks!
