That's crazy! My school is 8:40 to 3:10. Kids are late even with a later start. We piloted early morning gym last year at 8am and parents/kids had a hard time getting to school on time! I can't imagine a 7 o'clock start!

It is only normal in charter schools. They are not governed by the same laws at public city schools.
