traveling while on a medicated cycle
Today is CD 1 for me (again unfortunately), and i'm going to start another clomid cycle. I'm concerned though because i'm going to be traveling out of state during CD 9 - 12. In the past the RE typically has me take clomid CD 3-7, then I go back in CD 10 to see how everything looks. But now that i'm traveling i'm concerned... I just wanted to know if anyone else has traveled during a medicated cycle and how that affected it? I suppose I can take HCG shot with me (speaking of which, will they allow me to even take this on a plane or do I need a doc note?) but i'm just concerned w/o being able to go to a sono I may not trigger at the right time. TIA!!

Re: traveling while on a medicated cycle
I traveled with lovenox and had no problems. I carried it on and brought a letter from the doctor but they never even looked at it.
As for monitoring, that might be a problem. My doc wouldn't let me trigger without monitoring, so he said I would have had to skip the cycle. I ended up planning the trip during my 2ww (and got a bfp while on vaca!) good luck!

Re: traveling while on a medicated cycle
i dont think you can trigger without a doctor confirming its the right time. i would either do the clomid cycle and BD, no trigger, and just hope that you O, or start clomid around cd5 and take it cd5-10 and go for monitoring as soon as you get back. i really dont think you can trigger on your own, for a variety of reasons.

Re: traveling while on a medicated cycle
thanks ladies- I guess I'll ask when I have to go in on CD 3 to start the new clomid cycle... I don't O on my own and need the trigger, so I can only hope that when I get back to NY on CD 13 my follicles haven't gotten too big by then and that I still have enough time to trigger.
