Down to the Wire "To Do" List...
Who knows when my actual "deadline" is, but these are the things I am FINALLY checking off my to-do list, which I thought might help others in their 9th months! It's a busy time!!! 
CLEANED CAR ... it now looks spotless and brand new - ready for baby!!!
Infant Car Seat base going in tomorrow!
WASHED Newborn and 0-3 clothes (folded and in drawers)
Take Home Outfit ready to go!
Cut tags and labels off all baby's toys
WASHING/sterilizing nipples and pacifiers
Just about done with nursery! (DH is rocking that room!!! Pics to come!)
Paid my bills for the month of August
Packed my hospital and labor room bags (including all paperwork)
Got my mani/pedi ("Aruba Blue" polish for motivation during my boy's birth!)
Packed post-birth "to do" list with important phone numbers in the hospital bag re: what to do after baby is born (call insurance company to let them know about birth, have DH tell job to add DS to our insurance policy, call my job to tell them about birth, etc.)
Filled out all disability paperwork
Compiled "call list" for who to contact when the big moment comes!
Interviewed and chose our DS's pediatrician
Took Childbirth Class at hospital
Stocked up on baby medicine so we're prepared from Day One
Arranging DH's Pertussis Vaccine at his doc
CLEANING house like a mad woman!
DH putting baby items together (play yard, swing, bouncer, etc.)
Print address labels so they're ready to go for the birth announcements
Buying any birthday cards/gifts for loved ones for the month of August
*Still have to pick date and location for baby's Christening.
Maybe this list will help you, too, when the time comes? Hope so!
Can you think of anything I may have forgotten?

I'm glad you asked because I didn't know about "pre-registering" for the hospital until I took the Childbirth Class at Good Sam.
You can call or go to the hospital you will be delivering at to "pre-register". You fill out all the paperwork and give them your insurance card so you don't have to do it while you're in labor. I just brought a copy of that form with me.
ALSO... make sure you call your insurance company to "register your pregnancy". I actually received a form from my insurance company telling me that I've been "approved" for delivery at Good Sam. I have that paper with me, too. Once I have the baby, I have to call them to let them know and to tell them what type of delivery it was.
I also have the folder I was given in the Childbirth Class, which has a TON of helpful information.
Then I have all the phone numbers of the places I need to call after the baby comes to update them (my human resources department, my short term disability carrier, etc.) and DH (whose medical insurance we use) has to let his job know within 30 days that the baby was born so that they can add him to our family policy so he's covered at the doctor's.
It's a lot... and I knew none of this until I spent a day on the phone one day being transferred from one department of my insurance company to another. This is the tedious stuff, but it's all good to know in advance because I think we'll all be busy once baby comes!
