Bob's furniture...bed bugs?
We were thinking of buying a living room set from Bob's so I decided to google some reviews. A few reviews had people complaining that they now had bed bugs from the furniture they got from Bob's. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I did hear about this. My mom wanted to buy from them and we googled and saw what you are seeing. Honestly, it doesnt shock me. They cost less, sell alot of items that are not custom, and IMO that means they may have alot of returns (meaning something was sitting in someones house).
Yet if you google other stores, this does not come up. So I do believe it and my mom decided not to buy from them b/c of all the complaints we have read.
Similar situation...I had to buy a mattress. I was worried about this, so I googled sleepys and bedbugs. I think I only saw one sort of complaint. But if you google Macys mattress, and Bobs mattresses and bedbugs, LOADS of complaints come up. So I believe it.
I personally would not buy from them.

I just googled Raymour and Flanigan and bed bugs and stuff came up too!  Now I'm afraid to buy from anywhere!

I know someone who got it from a brand new Macys bed. I dont think any store is really safe--especially the ones that take away old mattresses!!!!

Well I discussed this with Sleepys. I was paranoid.
They told me they have strict rules. They have to inspect any mattress pick up and if the mattress has any stains at all, or any signs of bedbugs, they will NOT take it. Also, anything they take away they have to wrap in plastic and nothing is taken back to the warehouse, it is brought to a dump.
In addition, I told them I would refuse delivery if the mattress or boxspring was not fully in plastic when they delivered. That I did not want the plastic taken off on the truck where I did not see this occur.
If you google Sleepys and bedbugs, almost NO complaints that I could find.
