6.5 month old peeing through 2 nighttime diapers, sleepsack, and onto sheet....

DD sleeps like a champ (5:30 pm to 6:30 am), but keeps peeing through her diaper....not sure what else we can do....we use TWO 12+ hour diapers, and sometimes she soaks through both diapers, through the sleepsack and onto her sheet. She is the happiest baby, so she doesn't really mind sitting in her pee apparently, bc she doesn't cry. Is there something else I can be doing to keep her dryer, yet still allowing her to sleep 13 hours?

change diaper brand

huggies always seemed to keep DD driest at night time.. pampers during the day...

always leaked at night with pampers.. night time or not...

i would just try another brand

They say leaking usually happens when the diaper is too small.

I agree with huggies for nighttime, they soak up everything.

I used to use a diaper liner, luvs in 1 size, then an overnight in a size up. Worked well but there were still nights that he peed through.

DS is 6 months old and peed through his Pampers overnights for like 5 straight nights before I gave them up and went to Huggies or the Target brand, no problems with them. I hate Pampers.

DS always wore one size up in overnight diapers. Also, BRU sells padded inserts to put inside the diaper to absorb more.

Congrats on 13 hours a night. That's awesome!!

DS was peeing through his diapers as well. i did the double diaper thing for abit but now i use huggies at night and pampers or luvs during the day.
he still leaks through here and there but not on a daily basis like he used to.

my girls peed through EVERYTHING!!! It ws driving me nuts not to mention they would wake up cranky cuz they were wet. I started using the BRU Supreme diapers along with a diaper double in it (also sold at BRU). now they have not wet through anything in over a month. they are 8 1/2 months now

Thanks so much everyone! We do use the Huggies nighttime diapers in a bigger size already. Will have to look for those inserts at BRU, thank you!!

I switched DS to Target brand at night when he started to pee through them.. He i 27 months now and he barely wets through them. Maybe 3 times a month. Before then we were using Pampers Baby Dry..

I had the same problem i did what the ladies on here said and went up a and i use pampers during the day but do huggies over nights for bedtime....i put dd who is now going to be 8 months on the 20th to bed at like 6-7 pm and i change her in her crib again before i go to sleep around midnight and she is good till she wakes at like 7 am....i could prob try to let her sleep through the night but it is def full at midnight when i change it so i dont wanna take the chance plus like i said she sleeps straight through the changing ..thank god.

I would try Pampers. DS leaked through the Huggies but that Pampers he never has. Apparently i am in the minority!

I am selling the rest of the Huggies overnights, 52 diapers size 4.

We do double Huggies Overnights and cut a slit in the front if the first diaper and put another on top of that one so the pee goes through to the other diaper.
