IVF ladies
When did you get your BFP?
This is my first IVF. We are unexplained IF and put 2 embies back. Tomorrow I will be 5dp5dt. I am dying to POAS. I know it is super early and I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I don't think I can hold out any longer!!!!

I know its super hard not to POAS but if u do this early, you may get a false positive. The HCG shot can linger in your system for 2 weeks. Since the HPT looks for HCG - that could be a false + and then you'll get your hopes up. I was a day 5 transfer. I had the transfer on 2/27 and we did bloodwork on 3/9 and got our BFP. I know its soooooo hard but try to hang in there.

I was the queen of poas. I have always gotten an accurate result 5 days after a 5 day transfer. This was my 4th cycle IVF. This past cycle I tested day 3 and 4 as well and was lucky enough to test out of the HGC shot, because this was a fresh cycle for me. But keep in mind that my accurate result was the faintest of positive lines that I continued to obsess over. This line did get a little darker each day. Also, I got better readings NOT using FMU.
Now 7weeks with

I had a faint positive at 7dp5dt on the FRER. I took the test at around 4 pm, so no FMU for me. Like the PP, I also got better readings not using FMU.

I got my BFP from the Beta...I tested on 7dp3dt and got a negative result on the pregnancy test. It just depends on the person.
I know it's excruciating to wait (it was for me)...but try to hold out until the beta. Often the meds can cause a false positive or negative on a pregnancy test.

I dont know how but I never POAS...I waited for my BETA which was 9dp5dt and got my BFP

I got a faint BFP 6dp3dt. I couldn't wait any longer. I don't know how people are able to hold out until a beta...I could never do it.

For both pregnancies that stuck, I was 6dp3dt.
I was psychotic with testing. I testing every day to watch the trigger shot leave my body. That way, if I got a BFP, I knew it was for real.
