6 month old sleep habits

My 6 month old is still screaming herself to sleep just about every time she has to fall asleep. No rocking or singing helps, she just screams. She is a happy baby except for nap or bed time. Anyone have any insight? I can't take the screaming anymore!

Anthony does this, too, but just for a few minutes until he falls asllep. I just assume he is fighting the nap and let it be. You know when DC is tired, do what is best.

this will pass... ds is almost 8 months, and he falls asleep fine (we just had to figure out a routine and stick to it), but i am telling you in the begining it was sooooooooooo hard. he would scream so hard at night, it would take us atleast 2 hours for him to fall asleep, as he would scream bloody murder every time we put him down, my husband had to carry him around for an hour in the baby carrier and that was the only way he would fall asleep at night, he would get so tierd and finally pass out at 11pm, we were so exhausted. And forget nap time, he would not nap. but somehow it all has fallen into place... so hang in there it will get better
