We are 95% moving!!!
I'm sooo excited! We found THE perfect house! Something I always wanted, HUGE corner property, 3br ranch all hardwood floors, sliding glass doors to a deck in the backyard, indoor AND outdoor fireplace, great layout to build up on eventually. It a lease with the option to buy. The taxes are pretty low too, considering what it is. Its all new and updated and only work needs to be done is when we build up, I would extend the kitchen and make the bedrooms a playroom.
We're talking to the LL again tomorrow and hopefully signing the lease on Friday. I'm SOOO excited!  I tried to hold all my emotions in until the last minute bc I could get very emotionally attached. I feel like its safe now to be happy!
Just wanted to share with people who wont be upset that I'm moving a little bit further away.

Its in patchogue. The only thing that might be a concern is the school district. But the town is really getting better so we'll see what happens by the time DS is in middle school. Private school may be an option, but thats a long time away.

Wow thats awesome!! I always wanted to know how the rent to buy option worked?? If you could FM me any info that would be awesome!
P.s.
We live in Patchogue by Canaan Lake it is a great area..and they are really trying to clean it up!! I wish you tons of luck!!
