I keep hearing conflicting reports, when should I do the ovulation test?

On the tests I believe it says between 12noon and 8pm and NOT to use FMU
I usually take them around 2pm and I've had good luck with that time.

First Morning Urine 
You know how for a pregnancy test (HPT) you are supposed to use FMU but with Ovulation predictors kits (OPKs) they suggest you NOT use FMU
