 | Re: Weird, kind of morbid question, with poll Yes, I was driving home one night & a cat jumped in front of my car.
And I two different occasions I was ina car when the driver hit a dog. Both times the dogs jumped out on the road between two cars.

 | Re: Weird, kind of morbid question, with poll Never hit an animal (thankfully!)
But I did run over a mouse once on on a highway Thanksgiving night a few years back. What a god awful popping noise it made. I still shudder when I think about it

		| | Re: Weird, kind of morbid question, with poll Now that we live in a more rural area, I have been very anxious about hitting a deer. I would be heartbroken if that ever happens. It gets me really upset when I see them coming near the road. We've been seeing them more often on the road we take into our development, and it makes me mad when I see people driving fast on that road. |

 | Re: Weird, kind of morbid question, with poll I hit a squirrel and I cried!!! I felt horrible. Then in high school, the car in front of me hit a cat and I saw the whole thing. I was stopping traffic and bawling. |

 | Re: Weird, kind of morbid question, with poll When I was 17 I was driving home through Delaware and hit a pack of wild dogs. I swear they ran right at me and I tried to swerve around them. I think I hit like 2 or 3, but they all managed to run away. When I drve around to pass back I could not see any of them.
It was horrible, my passenger burnt a hole in my ceiling from all the bumping. UUUGGHHH!!

ETA: UUUGHHH about the poor dogs (not my ceiling)

 | Re: Weird, kind of morbid question, with poll I hit a huge seagull once- luckily he flew away after so I think he was ok. He just froze when the car came.
And I was a passenger when my friend hit a raccoon. Unfortnately, he wasn't so lucky
