Just spent the night in the ER with my dad!
My poor dad earlier in the day we were relaxing and hanging by my aunt's pool then my mom calls me last night because he was having seizures one right on top of the other. I rush over as she calls 911. A little background history, my dad suffers from a malignant brain tumor since early this year. Unfortunately we had to go to the nearest hospital not the hospital I work at where he was treated so I was not so happy about that. But after 6hrs in the ER we find out his Dilantin levels are low(his anti-seizure medication) so they give him an extra dose and send him home but he is so weak right now. We have to follow up w/his docs this am. Hopefully it was just that his levels were low and not that his tumor has grown again. I'm just not ready to lose my dad yet!

I hope your dad is ok. I know what you mean, my mom was in the hospital a few months ago for a whole month in a coma, and had a 20% of living. She pulled though. It is so scary the thought of losing a parent.

Thanks for all your support guys! He is doing much better today and he has an appt w/his neurologist next week so we'll know more then.
